National Organic Board Spring Meeting Underway

Public comments are being taken this week in a Zoom meeting for the in-person board meeting next week.

The National Organic Standards Board’s semi-annual meeting is underway as a webinar this week, with comments from that webinar being considered at the in-person board meeting in Milwaukee April 29-May 1.

The online comments webinar began April 23 and continue Wednesday and Thursday (ending April 25). It’s held 11am-5pm Eastern time each day.

Recommendations from these meetings will help the USDA develop and refine organic standards. The in-person board meeting April 29 - May 1 will include a live webcast for those who are not able to attend in person.
